OUR RESTLESS PLANET
NATURE—THE NATURAL WORLD—ITS ENERGY, POWER, AND VITALITY INSPIRES MY ART.
WE ARE LIVING IN THE ANTHROPOCENE, A TIME OF GREAT UNCERTAINTY FOR LIFE ON THIS PLANET. MY ART CELEBRATES NATURE’S STRENGTHS AND ITS VULNERABILITIES, ITS MULTITUDES OF INTERCONNECTED LIFE, AND ITS BEAUTY.
I AM A MIXED MEDIA PAINTER, WORKING PRIMARILY IN WATER-BASED MEDIA : ACRYLIC, WATERCOLOR, COLLAGE. MY WORK IS ABSTRACT, EMBRACING THE VISUAL WORLD AS WELL AS THE UNSEEN, THE FELT, AND THE IMAGINED.
